| We all
are sure that democracy is the ultimate system of
political justice. We believe in it to the extend that we
don't even let ourselves question it. And if one does,...
Democracy is not a political system, but it is a tool a
group in power uses to enforce its will on others. It is
a way of justifying depraving minorities of their rights
and freedoms.

Long standing belief that
democracy is a system of political justice is a political
slogan that questioning is 'not allowed'. However, when
one will ask some basic question, answers may not be so
glorious. And as
always we will justify them by saying "It is for the
good of MAJORITY"
Democracy does not give equal rights to citizens. Democracy takes rights
away. In Quebec 49% of its citizen were taken rights to their own country.
If the vote was reversed, the minority would have been taken away their
right to stay in Canada. Democratic process, in any case, takes away
rights from some, and gaves the majority justification for suppressing
minority. Whatever the outcome of the democratic process would be, there
always will be those whose rights are violated.
Democracy is not the most advanced political system that
has been developed in the process of evolutionary changes.
Democratically governed areas of the earth appeared in
the history of our civilization from time to time, and
they disappeared from the scene, giving place to other
models of social coexistence. Many believe that what we
have now is the only just system of governing, but so did
many citizens of non-democratic countries in other eras
of the history, so do many citizens of non-democratic
countries of today's world. And, if we learn from the
history, democracy will evolve into something different
again. It will probably be a totalitarian regime, ruling
in the name of one group. It actually is happening now.
And we will believe that this is the best and only just
political system.
Democracy is nothing more than a tool for using the
popular vote to sanction totalitarian regimes.
The right to vote that is guarantied by every democratic
system is used to justify the rights of majority to
oppress minorities. The outcome of democratic process is
freely used to deny the rights of many people, who do not
agree with governing regimes.
Free speech, the flagship of so-called human rights, is nothing more
but an attempt to pretend that everybody has equal rights. Being able
to speak does not give the right to live the way one may speak about.
The spoken ideas may never be implemented, for the implementation process
is based on majority votes.
Democracy does not protect citizens' rights. Democracy actually
gives some citizens a right and moral justification to suppress rights
of others.
